Canada

Two separate networks of UV instrumentation exist in Canada: one is owned and operated by Meteorological Service of Canada (MSC), and one is operated by The Weather Network, a private national weather station. MSC currently operates a network of nine Brewer Mark II spectraradiometers distributed widely throughout the country. Together, they contribute to the Canadian Ozone and UV Network. All instruments are calibrated every two years by MSC. Funding for operation is provided by MSC and Environment Canada. All data is submitted to the World Ozone and UV Radiation Data Centre (WOUDC). Please contact Thomas McElroy from MSC for more information. Click here to learn more about MSC's monitoring program.

Environment Canada Ozone Watch :
supplied by the Canadian Government, this site supplies information on past monthly ozone levels as well as the most recent week's ozone levels.
Canada's site on UV radiation offers the latest UV predictions as well as information of general interest on UV. This site is offered in both French and English.
Summary and bibliography of current studies Canada is involved in which address the impact of UVB to the environment
Ozone and UV plots are available for twelve locations and ozonesonde plots are available for six locations in Canada. Plots are updated periodically.
