Spain

Today, there are a total of eight UV monitoring instruments managed by the Spanish. Alberto Redondas-Marrero, from the Instituto Nacional de Meteorologica (Izana Atmospheric Observatory), oversees the program. Three Brewers form part of the IBERONESIAN network of spectroradiometers operating on the peninsula.
One NILU UV-6 operates in Izana as part of the WMO's Global Atmospheric Watch programme (GAW). This instrument is part of the Spanish Antarctic Network.
One Bentham spectroradiometer and two Yankee broadbands form part of the ROBINM network (Red de Observacion Brewer del INM), or the Spanish Spectroradiometer Network.
A final Eldonet light dosimeter, located at the Santa Cruz Observatory in the Canary Islands, contributes to ELDONET the European Light Dosimeter Network. Please contact Mr. Redondas-Marrero for more information.
